SIR ROUGHIE DE HOUND
POLLY’S TRUSTED KNIGHT – GUARDIAN OF THE ALPHABET
Sir Roughie de Hound heralds from a long pedigree of hounds of the realm. His father – Sir Percy of the Pound – was one of King Arthur’s original hounds under the round table, a-la-Kennelot. Roughie is Princess Polly’s shining knight and guardian of the alphabet. On the night before Polly is to become queen, Roughie neglects his duties. He falls asleep, dreaming of his loved one, Flossie – a poodle. And while Roughie sleeps, the alphabet is stolen.
